Welcome to our 4 day course

 

Each class is 4 hours including the market tour

 

Our courses include:

  • small classes
  • transport to and from our original Chinese farmhouse just outside Yangshuo or to our beautiful River School including hotel pick up and drop off. Transport is only included from Yangshuo.
  • visit to local markets
  • fluent English-speaking local teachers
  • five carefully selected dishes per day
  • recipes of the dishes cooked to allow you to "wow" your friends
  • individual wok and bench
  • learn by doing
  • authentic meal cooked by you and your friends
     

 

Day 1

Arrival at Magnolia Hotel. Private transfers will be arranged according to the time of your flight.

 

Day 2

This course includes a tour of the local produce markets and five delicious dishes:

  • beer fish (famous local dish)
  • chicken with cashew nuts
  • steamed stuffed vegetables
  • eggplant with soy and oyster sauce
  • green vegetables with garlic.

 

Day 3

This course includes a tour of the local produce markets and five delicious dishes:

  • egg wrapped dumplings
  • steamed chicken with mushroom
  • duck with pickled ginger and chillies
  • stir fried pork with vegetables and oyster sauce
  • green vegetables with garlic.

 

Day 4

On day 4 you will be treated to a bike ride with a local guide taking in the amazing beauty of the Yangshuo countryside.

Alternatives are offered to guests who would prefer not to ride a bike and tours can be tailored to your specific needs.

 

Day 5

Departure from Yangshuo Cooking School. Private transfers will be arranged according to the time of your flight.
